Look at this amazing thing from Denise in the US! Those fishes! I love them! This was such a colourful and fun piece of mail. She’s simple amazing.
And she spoiled me! I am in awe of this green glittery tape! I’m also very interested to try out these adhesive sheets :D
I also received a letter from sweet Sara Jean in the US! I can’t believe she replied to the unconventional “letter” I sent her. It was 2 sentences or something xD I will definitely reply to her this weekend :D
This is a letter I sent to Denise :)
And this is a letter for Julie in the US.
The other day I received another Valentine’s mail piece! This is from Jennifer in the US.
Look at this! It’s so clever! Because it’s a paper plane shaped like a heart! And it says airmail! And if you unfold it you find the message :D I love it!
Today I received this beautiful mail from Kerry in the UK! And you know what? She sent me my first ever mail tag! :O Nope, no one ever mail tagged me before! If you’re unfamiliar with the concept you can read about it here for example.
Hihi, today my boyfriend bought me this as a little surprise <3 Adorable pasta is adorable.
I got a package from Catrin in the US! We decided to do a private candy swap, and this arrived in my mailbox <3 Look at all the pretty stamps! There’s even a dinosaur skeleton!
She sent me various fun candies/sweets that we don’t have here in Sweden, but I got to say that these peanut butter cups are my favourite so far *-* I will become an addict to something I can’t buy D’:
Last week I sent this little envelope to my marvelous friend Cecilia here in Sweden. I wonder if she got it?
And yesterday was her birthday! :D So I sent her some gifts :) You can see what these packages hide, and her cute cats here.
Happy Valentine’s day everyone! I hope you’re celebrating whatever’s close to your heart in whatever way works for you. Of course chocolate is close to most peoples’ hearts, so go get some if you haven’t had any yet today :) I’m not big on the Valentines hype, and therefore I haven’t sent any Valentine’s cards. But I have gotten two! :O And it was so nice and lovely to receive a piece of thoughtfulness in my mailbox, that I might have to reconsider my stand on Valentine’s cards next year :) These are actually the first Valentine’s cards I’ve ever received! At least as an adult, I’m sure we all traded home made cards in school when I was a kid. So these are very precious to me <3
“To my friend…
on St Valentine’s Day”
This adorable card is from Anny Sabine in Sweden. Thank you! :D
In Sweden this day is not named after the saint, but it’s called “All Hearts’ Day” (Alla Hjärtans Dag). We’re not that into saints over here. (I think they’re cool though. Because of history geekiness.)
This gorgeous Jane Austen themed card is from Hilde in Belgium. She quoted my favorite Austen book, Northanger Abbey:
“There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friend. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.”
So today I also received two letters from two of my penpals: the “for you” envelope is from Yoshi in Austria, and the mamegoma envelope is from Barbara in Germany. I was all caught up on my mail before today, so this was a happy surprise before the weekend :)
Here’s an envelope I’ve sent to the sweet Sara Jean in the US.
And here’s a package full of chocolate I’ve sent to Catrin from the US for a candy swap we’re doing. Hope she’ll enjoy it! :)
